The high school was recognized as one of the top in the country recently.

Getting around Springfield and to cities beyond its borders is convenient thanks to the major roads that pass through the township, like I-78, U.S. Route 22, 24 and 124, among others. There is also bus service via New Jersey Transit and nearby towns have train stations that are easy to access.
